Red Dot Fluxus Stuck in a Tree

not rauschenberg's

not robert rauschenberg's erasers

I've always found Rauschenberg's idea appealing. In an attempt to combine ideas from the last several posts (copycatting not-something-new red circles) here's a 10x enlargement of the upper left corner of the One Million Red Circles with number 1002 erased until the paper started to fail.

Fight Fluxus CopyCats

Isou, Tzara & Breton implicated in attempt to overthrow fluxus.

This is not something new

Label text: Fluxus proposes an intersection of disciplines. A couple of thousand years after The Mathematikoi, relationships in culture and expression were being mapped in the context of Intermedia.

Red Dot Fluxus in Black & White

"Blogosphere Avant-Gardism"

In a post on the blog MyDD, Chris Bowers sees a connection between the political blogsphere and FLUXUS--just substitute "political punditry" for "art."

Ed Leeper sculpture in Caermel

Ed, my Monterey conceptual artist friend was asked to do this sculpture for a sculpture garden in Carmel. It's made with all termite eaten wood. The faces are photos of friends of his who gather regularly at a coffee shop. The piece will be up for 3 months. It's at Carl Cherry Center for the Arts, 4th and Guadelupe. Dawg
