The Fluxus Alpha - by Litsa Spathi

Consider ...

Venetian Fluxconcert

On Saturday, June 16, 2007 Ay-O led a Fluxconcert Party through the 'calli' of Venice to San Marco and beyond. In an 'Homage to Fluxus Friends who have gone to Heaven or Hell'.
Here are a couple of photos. The rest I shall be posting on Flickr in due course, links shall be posted accordingly.

Ay-O plays Paik

Ay-O performs Paik's 'One for Violin Solo'. Sat. 10:30p.m. June 16th, 2007. Venice.
What you can't see is the police boat just in front of us and Bowman panicking as he is the only one with a valid performer's permit.
This is the first time Ay-O had ever performed this piece, despite always wanting to try. Got a good response, especially from the more lubricated tourists leaving nearby restaurants...

Song of Uncertain Length

Geoff Hendricks frightens many a tourist with his version of Emmett Williams' 'Song of Uncertain Length'. This one really gathered a crowd, who followed us right along the Riva, until the glass fell, Geoff took a bow and we all walked away.

Two Inches

Ay-O adds the finishing touch to Bob Watt's 2". Between the columns in the piazzetta, Piazza San Marco, Venice, 16 June 2007

Music with Your Work

Whistling, singing and cleaning a well-head fro Arthur Kopcke

Zyklus

Alan Bowman peforming Tomas Schmit's 'Zyklus' whilst everyone else was in the bar drinking red wine. (photo Ay-O)

Hamage to Charlotte Moorman

Floating a miniature cello down the Grand Canal. Homage to Charlotte Moorman who jumped from a Gondala near that very spot when performing with Nam June Paik in 1990

Homage to Fluxus Friends......

Before the 'Parade for George' which started the Fluxus Performance Evening around Venice.
Oh, little did they know....
