postmodernism is not something one can choose to be or not to be. The world is in a postmodern era. Everybody is a postmodernist whether they want to be or not.
One can choose to dislike postmodernism, but one cannot escape it.
To escape one has to attempt to abandon postmodern thinking and postmodern creation. No video art. No audio art. No abstraction. Back to basics. Back to tacky kitchy art...and presto! One arrives Back at postmodernism.
